Foodservice in the High School Setting during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Under the supervision of my preceptor, Brook Stephenson, MPH, RDN, I put my ServSafe knowledge and managerial tactics to use at the Santa Maria Joint Unified School District. I put together a St. Patrick's Day themed menu, in addition to other promotional events celebrating National Nutrition Month and National School Breakfast week. I observed the diligence of the school employees, working hard to deliver COVID-safe packaged meals to students. I had a blast and learned so much!
